Surgeries

For those readers who are also my constituents, I've put my surgery times and contact details on the side bar. Feel free to pop by and see me!

I won't be able to see you at any surgery soon, but I'd be interested to know your thoughts (perhaps in a future post?) on dealing with the amount of graffiti in the area. I for one am fed up of seeing 'Wee Paton' on everything between Fielden Street and the Trongate...

Hi Calton Chris - I'll see if I can get the Council's graffiti removal team to do anything about this - I agree it's an eyesore in the area and it's something I've been meaning to get sorted!

Just to let you know - I passed this on when I got into work on Monday. I'll keep you updated!

Can you also investigate the piece of spare ground just outside the Maggie McIver gate to Glasgow Green? It's consistently flytipped, and also bears the remnants of drug use and prostitution that has happened locally.

I've seen tourists use this entrance (on their way to Peoples Palace and the Doulton Fountain) and it's just embarassing that they have to see this mess.

I have emailed the council (including yourself) about this before, but with no response whatsoever. I appreciate it's not the biggest problem locally, but it is something that is easily resolvable. And it is important in terms of getting more tourists in the area, which will benefit us all.

Hi David,

I believe I emailed you back on the 6th of September, though please get in touch with me again if that's not the case.
